WASHINGTON, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) -- The United States should stop making groundless allegations against Chinese companies including TikTok and give them a level playing field, Chinese Ambassador to the United States Cui Tiankai has said.

"The United States doesn't even bother to disguise its bullying," he said, adding that it not only violates the international rules of fair trade, but also hurts the free global market environment. http://www.maoyigu.com/eduneigz9yn/.

"Their allegations are fanfare for ideological confrontation and the Cold War mentality," Yang said. "They are nothing short of discredit to the enormous efforts and contributions made throughout past decades by people across the two societies to promote the development of China-U.S. relations."
