BEIJING, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- China on Thursday denounced the U.S. suppression and containment of Chinese high-tech firms by abusing state power, calling the relevant moves "a typical act of bullying" aimed at maintaining its high-tech monopoly.

Wang made the remarks in an exclusive interview with Xinhua on China-U.S. ties.
Noting that the United States conducts wire-tapping and mass surveillance around the globe, and that these wrongful acts are already an open secret, Wang said the United States is not qualified to build a coalition of "clean countries" because it is dirty all over.
The cooperation between the two countries has never been a case of one party giving favor to the other, or one party taking advantage of the other, said Wang.
China and the United States should respect each other's core interests and major concerns, said Yang, stressing that China's resolve to defend its sovereignty, security, and development interests is unshakable.
China's U.S. policy is always consistent and stable, and in the meantime, China is also prepared for possible bumps and storms ahead, Wang said during an exclusive interview with Xinhua.
